New anthology about Wales and Dolphins for the Year of the Dolphin
Christel Leca who has followed whales and dolphins from the Mediterranean to Svalbard, has presented her French language anthology of works about whales and dolphins at the publishing house, Delachaux and Niestle in Paris on 7 June
In it, the author has collected poems, excerpts from novels, fairy tales and legends, articles, compositions and essays taken from over a hundred literary works. The anthology invites the reader to embark on a journey through time from Antiquity to the present day, where reality and mythology merge. The informative book evokes emotions and leaves the reader astonished: whales and dolphins are refined, intelligent, graceful and powerful, yet still threatened.
50 black and white illustrations show the fascinating world of these marine mammals. The author tells the story of the origins of the blue planet, of whaling and the reestablishment of the friendship between humans, whales and dolphins. This idea of peaceful existence between humans and the living treasures of the seas is a remarkable contribution to the Year of the Dolphin. The publication can be obtained through book trade online.
