YoD partners meet to discuss plans for rest of 2008

At the meeting at UN Campus in Bonn, Germany, the work plan for 2008 was discussed and a list of priority conservation projects accepted.

This list will now be evaluated by the Cetacean Liaison Group, a gremium of cetacean experts, and the most important projects should then receive support through the YoD Partners and other organizations.

Another important topic was the continuation of educational and awareness campaigns worldwide, building on the broad array of educational materials available on this website.

Proposals for the nomination of YoD Ambassadors and a Patron for the remaining 2008 were also examined and will be acted upon in the upcoming weeks.

Mike Brauner of TUI presented a collection of YoD pictures and other documentation taken from events at TUI locations throughout the world to CMS Executive Secretary Robert Hepworth.
