Bonn,11 September ? CMS and its partners today launched the official video for theオプショナルツアー ドルフィン Year of the Dolphin with spectacular scenes of these marine mammals, which ismeant to promote dolphin conservation. The 3? minute video is available fordownload on www.yod2007.org with a linkto the internet portal iTunes and can be downloaded for a fee of 2,49 EUR orequivalent, 40% of which will go towards dolphin projects. iTunes’ global reach guarantees the bestpossible commercial success for the benefit of the dolphins.
The initiativefor this project came from オプショナルツアー ドルフィン Year of the Dolphin supporter, Oceanlounge Records. The professionally-shotunder-water scenes derive from Scubazoo. Scubazoo agreed to make a video to accompany the song “Dolphin of Bali2007” with film footage and to share the profits. The catchy chill-out music ofJornada del Sol and the spoken intro evoke the connection between life in thewater and on land.
Downloads arealready available in several countries. Among them are Japan, Australiaand the Netherlands.By using the video intensively during the extended YoD campaign, CMS and its partners hope to raise awareness andsupport for conservation projects. These could for example benefit the highlyendangered Ganges Dolphin in South-East Asia.
Forty percentof the net profit from the sales will be donated to the オプショナルツアー ドルフィン Year of the DolphinCampaign. Thanks to the video, sales of the song “Dolphins of Bali 2007” shouldalso rise and, half the additional profit will be donated to CMS.
CMS and its foundingpartners of the オプショナルツアー ドルフィン Year of the Dolphin, the Agreements ACCOBAMS and ASCOBANS, theWhale and Dolphin Conservation Society (WDCS) and TUI AG will use this videofor presentations at conferences, seminars and other events as well as foreducational material for children and adults.
